1. How did you hear about the bus? What made you want to get on board?
I heard about the venture bus from an Ampioneer, Ebuka Nwosu on his twitter account. I was honestly impressed and excited, because as far as I’m concerned NO other organisation has ever done this across Africa, it’s a different startup competition. I needed to expand my network across Africa and travel. I also wanted to build a great and impactful product that helps Africans living on the continent.
2.What are you hoping to get out of this trip? What are your expectations?
I hope this trip will be a catalyst for me to launch my business. My expectations are that this year, the team I find myself on the bus with, can create a massive idea that can change the story coming out of Africa.
3.What are the three things that motivate you?
My three greatest motivations are: family and friends (my dad especially), mentoring and being mentored by startup founders I make friends with, and to create an impactful product in Africa.
4. What’s the most exciting/proudest/interesting thing you’ve done to date?
I have quite a lot… but one of the standout moments was planning and successfully completing a cancer awareness project in school. The endorsements we received from the school and the many lives we helped save were truly touching.
5. What next? (Do you have any future ventures/ideas/projects you’re working on?)
My plan next is to launch my Creative Design studio called TECHNERD. We will like to launch some products and an idea I hope we can launch on the bus.
I want to thank AMPION for giving me this opportunity from over 700 applications I was selected to be part of a journey, I can’t wait to be on the Bus.
I can be reached via Twitter on @sinzubaba lets talk tech!!!
